The CPL has just learned that on Friday (11/27/09) the Treasury and Federal Reserve announced that it would postpone implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) for 6 months based on the petition filed by the Poker Players Alliance (PPA). This is a big win for poker and may be the first step in allowing legislation to be passed to legalize Online Poker in the USA.
