Congrats to Shane. A well played game with a tough field of players. Almost had a nanoman situation near the end but you still pulled out of it on top.

Congrats also to Greg for winning the best of three heads of showdown with yours truly. It turns out he may be a "marginally" better heads up player then me. Now I have to pay his entry into the TOC. Although I think I got the better end of that deal. He actually has to make it to the TOC for that to happen. Keep up the last place finishes. I could use an extra $25.

Great card playing last night by Nanoman. He was in the zone.

Another season kicked off with an exciting finish. We had Nanoman trying to hold off three new-bees! Congrats to Shane, I don't think this will be the last time we have new-bees as top finishers. Good game by all.

I, however, didn't make a very good showing in the main event! The Blackwidow put the hex on me and took a huge pot from me early in the night. What they didn't know though was that was all part of my master plan to get out early and suck Bind-Me-Down into a head-up tourney.

After months of taunting, it has finally been proven who is the “better player”. Don’t forget about his comment last week about taking my $5 in the Full-Tilt CPL HORSE event. I took him out early and with no mercy in that too.

I’m glad to hear a little bit of humility in Mike’s blog comment but there is still some trash talking going on here. Some people never learn! I had to listen to all kinds of excuses on the drive home (forgot my sunglasses, my Dad was distracting me, I was card dead, etc, etc.)
