Malt Liquor Nite, or Poker In The Hood is always a crazy and fun time at Matson's place in south Minneapolis! And this past week's CPL session was no different! Ah.....Malt Liquor Nite....who can forget the Mickey's...and 40 oz's!!!
Amazing that we got any poker in at all! But we did with a smaller field of 9 CPL members and congrats goes out to Vince for taking down the week, plus also breaking the NewLife streak of WINS at the Matson household!!
I also have to give kudos to Vince for taking me out in heads up play at the end of the match. You had me on the ropes from the first hand!!
CPL Honorable mention goes out to Bill 'Comeback Kid' for winning the 40 oz contest....I guess that is considered a win....

I will have to go on the record once again and say that Week 6 is way too early to be showing adjusted point totals. You're dropping half the session and it isn't indicative of the real standings. Taking 3 sessions away from a six session run is like saying (Bill or Phil, insert great metaphor here).
So for those interested in the ACTUAL point standings they are as follows:
Greg - 62.6
Vince - 53.1
Mike - 48.6
Phil - 47.7
Mike Bowman - 46.7
Bill - 44.8
Malinda - 42.2

Is that like watching 'American Pie' - then skipping over all the scenes where Shannon Elizabeth is naked?
YES! There is the analogy I was looking for. We need to put a stop to these adjusted totals until week 9. That way we are only skipping over the parts where she has clothes on.
